Learn to eat with joy!

Stop obsessing over food and start living a life you love.

Life is too short to feel guilty about what you eat.

Do you currently:

  • think about food all day

  • mindlessly eat for reasons you don’t quite understand

  • cave into cravings and then feel ashamed of yourself

  • wish you had more willpower or control

  • fail at restrictive diets and end up blaming yourself (by the way, it’s diets that fail people)

What if I told you that none of this is your fault?

What would you do if you knew that:

  • dieting is not a sustainable solution

  • you don’t need any more food rules

  • willpower has nothing to do with it

Intuitive and Mindful Eating is your key to breaking the emotional overeating cycle - so you can finally feel good in your body and your life.

  • Embrace a mindful mindset & emotional eating intelligence

Discover what thoughts and emotions trigger your automatic responses to food and how to shift the patterns.

  • Learn to eat intuitively and mindfully

Learn skills that help you to connect with your hunger and fullness so you can derive more satisfaction from eating.

  • Optimize your nutrition

Understand what it takes to fuel your body and brain for optimal and sustainable performance so you can manage your energy and hunger, and curb cravings before they happen.

I’m so glad you’re here!

I’m Dr. Sylvi Martin, a naturopathic doctor, registered nurse psychotherapist and certified intuitive eating counselor based in Ontario. While working with individuals in my naturopathic practice over the past twelve years, I noticed that any time we discussed food and nutrition, the emotion that would bubble up again and again for people was guilt.

I knew I needed a system that would help them tune into their relationship with food so they could finally eat with joy and feel good about it. This led me to pursue training in two evidence-based approaches: mindfulness-based eating and intuitive eating.

My goal, whether through programs or in my private practice, is to help people rediscover what it means to eat mindfully and intuitively, so they can break free from old patterns and finally feel at peace with their food.

Patient Reviews & Testimonials

Did you know that it is a standard for most of the regulated health professional regulators across Canada to prohibit the posting of patient testimonials and reviews by clinicians? They do this to protect patients.

Why does not posting reviews and testimonials matter? Because testimonials are essentially misleading.

  • Testimonials are meant to influence and bias decision making.

  • They’re designed to promote sales, and they focus only on the benefits.

  • When patients are asked to provide testimonials, they may feel pressured to leave a positive review.

  • Testimonials are often cherry-picked and biased to highlight positive reviews only.

  • They’re generally not factual or verifiable.

  • In many cases, they may not be from actual patients and may be entirely made-up to promote business.

The College of Naturopaths of Ontario, and the College of Nurses of Ontario prohibit their registrants from posting patient testimonials and reviews.
